Hi, I’m Coach Carrie Jones!  I have been involved in the swimming community since the age of 6 and am passionate about passing on a life long love for the sport to kids of all ages. I began swimming on my local swim team in Pennsylvania. After high school, I was a 4 year member of the women’s swim team at Kutztown University where I was a captain my senior year. 

After college, I began teaching which led her to Jacksonville, FL and to Fredericksburg before settling down here in the Richmond area and landing at Swift Creek Elementary as a third grade teacher, where you may know me as Mrs. Jones. I have also coached a few summer league teams in the area and have been an assistant coach with the novice groups at Quest Swimming for the past 5 years.  When not teaching third grade or on the pool deck, I can be found hanging with my husband and dogs, exploring new places, thrift shopping or with my nose in a good book. I am so excited to be a part of the Makos this summer and to continue the tradition of excellence that Coach Sean has established. Go Makos!
